Big Sur International Marathon
Date: Sunday, April 26, 2026
Location: Highway 1, from Big Sur to Carmel
Widely called the “most beautiful marathon in the world,” this is a bucket-list race for runners. The point-to-point course takes you through redwood forests and along breathtaking coastal cliffs, culminating in the iconic crossing of the Bixby Creek Bridge. Shorter distances (21M, 11M, 12K, 5K) are also available.
