Accessibility at Olympia Lodge

Includes ADA-Compliant Rooms and Website for Differently-abled People

OLYMPIA LODGE WELCOMES GUESTS OF ALL ABILITIES

We support and are appreciative of the ADA's efforts to federally prohibit discrimination based on disability. Enacted in 1990, the ADA ensures all people in the United States receive equal accommodation, regardless of an individual’s unique physical or mental ability or impairment.

ADA-COMPLIANT ROOMS

Olympia Lodge welcomes guests of all abilities, including wheelchair users as well as hearing, vision and/or mentally impaired visitors. Thus, our accessible hotel rooms feature bathtubs with grab bars and a seat, roll-in showers with a seat and communication equipment for the hearing and sight-impaired, along with tranquil decor and surroundings.

Presently, our ADA-compliant rooms are under rennovation. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to present these spruced-up rooms shortly. Thank you in advance for your patience.

ADA COMPLIANT WEBSITE

Websites of all businesses providing public accommodation must be accessible for differently-abled (disabled) people. This has been true since 2003 when the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) took the stance.

We care about bridging the digital divide. Although there is no definitive must-have list to be ADA compliant, there are guiding principles provided by W3C (https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/quickref/), which we have followed as closely as possible.
